This website is all about helping us girls travel safely and travel well, even when we’re on a budget.
At the heart of travel-wise pixie is my travel blog. I’m a story-teller at heart, and the only thing I love better than a good story is travelling.
As a woman of small-ish stature (I am a pixie, after all!), I take my safety while travelling seriously. That’s why I’ve put together a series of safety guides that I keep on hand – digitally and printed – whenever I leave Canada.
The articles I’ve written are based on the notebooks I’ve kept from all my travels. They’re a sort of catalog with tips and tricks for budget traveling but amped up with research on current trends. Think affordable accommodation, cheap flights, getting around on the ground, etc.
I’m not a travel agent. I’m just a travel nut who wants to share a bit of whimsy in this crazy world!
